Ashfield RSL Sub-Branch

Ashfield RSL Sub-Branch, as part of the Returned and Services league of Australia (NSW Branch) is dedicated to the welfare of serving & ex-serving Defence Force personnel & their dependents.

Comprising of veterans from Vietnam, Korea, Gulf War 1 and 2, East Timor and Afghanistan along with reservists and with members both retired and current, we are a small close close knit community drawn together by a common bond of mateship. More than anything our sub-branch helps our older members when they are in need and we actively work supporting the current cohort of veterans

Each month we hold General Meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 1930. Following our meetings, we have an opportunity to catch up with light refreshments being provided.

On Anzac Sunday and Remembrance Day we hold commemorative services and luncheons.

The RSL is a Charitable and Welfare focused organisation and our Sub-Branch provides a number of services to our members and their families when required as well as supporting the broader service and ex-service community.

We also provide

  • custodial and officiating services for our local memorials, commemorative & ceremonial events
  • educational & financial assistance to schools
  • support & assistance to Cadets, Australian Regular & Reserve Defence Force units & other military & ex-service related museums & organisations.

We do this through the voluntary contributions (of time and money) of our members and supporters.

Please feel free to join us on the Third Wednesday of each month in the Cadillac room of Ashfield RSL, convieniently located just a short walk from Ashfield station at 374 Liverpool Rd, Ashfield, NSW 2131
